Hey All; Well I went and traded off my Traxxas Slasher for a Wraith. It was a even Steven straight up trade off and I will be doing alot of work to get this 3 owner rig up to specs.lol Mine that is. First things first I really have no real reason to run it stock and since I have to into it to add a Spektrum reciever I might as well toss in some other goodies. So far I have my Hitec mega servo in it as well as a spare VLX3S system to move along the parts stress testing. Here are a few starting pics for you.L8R,W.

I don't need those guys to want to build a wraith, haha. They're just awesome.

The zombie apocalypse will be sponsored. I love it. Shocks too.

Hey All; Well in between racing and bashing and work and church and life, wow full plate these days.lol I managed to break some stuff and then had to purchase a few things. So let the Wrenchification Begin!!!!!!!
Well I needed some lower links and found some for $10 a set and then scored a steering link and some droop mounts as well and the crossbrace support tubes. I also lowered the stock mounts and moved the lower shock mounts in line as well. And flipped the Axel mounts too. Gunna see what breaks this weekend and start ordering a few more items since I sold a few items and scored a decent tip froma client this week. Here are a few pics of the progress. Enjoy.l8r,w.

Boken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the replacements.
Image

Image

Flip em over for some lowering action.

Image
Image

Flip the uppers as well.

Image

Moved to get in line with the others.

Image

Image

New steering BEEF.

Image

Things needed a lil' support.

Image

And the new Droop Mounts installed.

Sav found the mod and I tryed it out as well. Just use a couple of wire looms over the tubes and bolt to the hood to create hinges. Then find a mount of some sort. I used an old body post cut off and drilled and Sav used some Traxxas battery strap posts. Works out great and looks the part as well. HtH

lol I might have to look into that option one of these days. I did try it out last Sat. on the offroad track and it cleared the double with no problems. :)

Yesterday I was looking for a pic for MJ and was running through all I have saved on my harddrive. I came across pics of the rig that he wraith is based on. Built by the owner of the 1:1 rig and owner of CKRC. The original is steel. Just thought you wraith guys might like to see it.

No you guys didn't miss anything. Just a little frustration that is all. If you ever notice that Sav seems to never post any coments in ANY of my build threads till there seems to be something in it for him. I on the other hand I post away in threads of his to not even a comment or a reply from him.So I edited my post and would like to apologize for being a bit of an ASS, Sorry Sav was a rough night seems I have an ear infection and it has had me a bit on edge the last few days.
