330 miles, 6 hours. It always amazes me how I can be so far away from everything, yet they're just over in the next state.

Not in these mountains haha. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to go the 30 miles to town. I do drive around 60 when I can, it's the other vehicles and few passing zones that kill your time.

65 mph = 1 min pr mile but due to unforeseen things such as traffic, mountains and what ever else you could possible think of usually you can throw that figure out the door.
usually that equation is for good for basically going straight no traffic.

its still 300 miles, which would still be 300 minutes by your method, which is still 5 hrs.
i think you meant 1.66 miles a minute. :)

i'd have to average over 100 to get to Jamus's place in 3 hours. that won't happen with my 13 yr/old truck, and mountains. heck it takes me 45 minuts just to get outside the beltway. i wish i could go that fast though savage. it would be much more fun.

It's probably only 150 in a straight line. We'll just wait on our personal hovercars that they said we'd have by the 90's. At least that's what was projected in the 50's, haha.
