thats my gameplan MJ. I'm going to wait untill I have the trans mounted and upper chassis done before I move to drive shafts. I've got a idea to stretch some shafts I currently have for mock up until I get a hold of the right ones.

the tmaxx shafts are really long really. stock you will need at least a 16" wb, do you will have to trim them down. which is simple enough since they are indexed and plastic.

After a little time away from hobbies, I decided to open up the workbech & get goin' on some model projects. The '55 Vette is being modified into a salt flats style racer, & the pick-up cab & bed are parts on a rat rod bobber truck. You can also see the Merc gasser body on the top left, in primer.

Slash just shredded it's last driveshaft so it's down for the count too........so until the college gets off their high-horse and gets the financial aid filed none of my kits get fixed and the bench stays cluttered with this junk!

It's all about presentation. Old VHS tape for sell at $4.99 vs. A piece of vintage media history can be yours today for the low financial investment of $4.99

I posted a pic of a Slash Scale lid I am working on and Jams asked for a lid off shot of some tube work. But it is't tube work it is styrene tube cut and glued and then hotglued to the inside of the body. So I just finished up a few more scale items for the interior. I mocked upa seat with belts,a steering wheel and a shifter as well a new window net. Here are a few fresh pics and a reminder pic.l8r,w.

Well, I'll be gettin' a little RC action happening on my 'bench purty soon here. The Chevy bodied Micro is fixin' to get torn down, the body will be retired, & an older Chevy body will be utilized... I'm thinking truggy.

Image

You might see a CJ7 sitting there- well, either the Datsuns coming apart or yet another Micro may find its way here. We're talkin' leaf springs......

Nice work MJ. Looking good man.

So I have sold a few more things and funded an upgrade for my SC10-FT race rig to some real electronics. Scored a Trinity D3 10.5 motor,Tekin RS ESC and a Savox 1258TG Digital servo and a few other things to Beef up my steering.
