well i went and did it again. i came across to sweet deals on a couple of used stampedes. the one was a roller with two sets of moab tires an rims. the rims suck but the tires are like new condition. and the other was taken apart so he could ship it to me. a good roller also. already have a nice new stock 12t and esc for one of em. nothing major for these far as hop ups goes. gonna build one of them for my daughter to go out bashing around with me. so rpm parts will be getting ordered up. and since she has a heavy trigger finger i figured the 12t would be a good starting point. not real slow but not real fast.

the 12t is the traxxas titian motor. since shes got a heavy trigger finger this is the best to start her out with.

thanks guys!! it out to be a blast once one of em is done.

So I have been fighting a front one way in my TC TVA chassis and was high time to ditch it and get a ball diff in there. What a PITA to strip it all out and toss this puppy in there. here are a few pics from last night.

Decided not to waste my time running it with the battery in the back so it got stripped down for the relocation figure since its apart bows a good time to clean it and paint panels (outside for now untill I find a deal on new unpainted panels). Also installed the new to me lower kit links from Jason (thanks man) and am in the process of installing the low cog shock mounts and losi shocks.

Not a workbench, but still pretty cool. I bought a new couch/loveseat combo for my livingroom. After getting it delivered I found out my PC desk was WAY to big, so it had to go. But I gotta have my RCB so the gears started turning. How about a bracket with a arm that would allow the monitor to be stored against the wall, but would swing out over a foot so I could set on the couch with a lap desk and wireless mouse/keyborad setup? I found such a bracket at Bestbuy for $90 and set it up. Heres the outcome. I didnt get a pic of it in it's extended state, but you get the idea. It swings out 13" from the wall, so with a 19" monitor I get plenty of room to see everything fine and still interact with the family. Check it out.

So got some cleaning to do. And not your average chassis and what not. How about tire cleaning. So in indoor carpet racing the pile or fibers can build up with rubber we lay down as we race and that can build up and clog up the tires. So after learning from the long timers I was in need of some deep cleaning of my tires to get the most out of them. Here are some pics of comparison shots. It is a little bit of some elbow grease to get it to come clean and your fingers are blacked out when finished. Luckily I had some Goop to clean up with.l8r,w.

VTA rims and tires ready to get it Off.

F-1's get the same treatment and same results.

well a couple of weeks ago i picked up a good 2wd slash roller pretty cheap. dont have any wild upgrades planned for it as of yet. just wanting to get a few things changed on it that i noticed needed some attention. 1 rear shock shaft is bent,1 front shock leaking so i ordered some new ones and had to order some rims and tires. at which the ones pictured are the ones i just bought. some cheap 20.00 ones on the bay. they`ll work for the time being. so now its time to tear it done and clean it up.

Thanks... it's a myopenpc open bench.. the board on it is actually an old MSI socket A motherboard (2001?) with two voodoo2 graphics cards on it for 3d.. circa 1999.. er 98? video hardware.. I am replaying my old favorite games on it that don't work well in windows 7.
