Well, I guess I decided I needed to keep up with the Jones'. In this case, it was HD. So....I purchased a RTR used Wraith tonight. It has some upgrades already so that excites me...It has hot racing dig unit, c hubs, knuckles, vp steerling links, rockloks, gmade 70021 wheels battery forward plate, 35t motor. I have another $50 to spend on this, as my wife set my budget and some how I stayed under it! What should I do next to make sure it stays ahead of HD's wraith? LMAO

What all do you have for this? lipo? For this rock pile best thing you can do is add weight, got the batt forward so that helps alot. Think those wheels you can add weight? if not look in my thread on what I did. Get the 2 robinson gears for the tranny cause you will most likely strip stockers pretty quick they are plastic!

Tell him how many, need 5mm....get you a dinky roof like mine and you need 12 total but stock is 6

Saw alot like that at the comp I went to not sure why maybe weight? but looks good to me...

I like it. My opinion on the wraith design is this. If you have 4 seats, then the back part of the cage makes sense. But if you only have 2 seats, the triangulated design is a better design for strength. I also think it looks better, but that's really opinion.

really nice buy there man. seems like it has everything it needs to out do HD. the dig will be the best thing to outperform him so far! and also those tires are much nicer than stockers!

haha...come on now MJ. Do you really think I'm going to stick with stock tires, wheels, electronics, or anything else for that matter? lol. Nah, just kidding. It seems like Taurus has found a nice Wraith here. Cant wait to get em out on some trail runs. Should make for some nice videos.

Heh dont knock the the stock tires they perform! Seriously was all the rocks, sand even trees lol

Oh, Im not knocking them. If the were more scale in appearance I'd stick with em. From what I've read, there's a big diff in the stockers and a/m ripsaws. The a/m ones are a stickier compound that the OE.

Yea kit ones are the nice ones so you got a kit which has nice soft sticky ones.

Hope so. I plugged everything up yesterday and I couldn't get the motor to do anything. Not sure what I did wrong. I'm gonna take it to James tomorrow see if he can figure anything out.
