Hard to see in the pic but might be on the extreme chassis but the body looks like the older cept for the 2 body posts in the front but might be a hole there for the old mount which is just one post. NOt to familiar with extreme but I dont think much would transfer to the original other then the body and maybe wheels?

Nice, now the scalers don't need to sacrifice vintage styrene to have a stepside F150.

Looks like the tranny will fit the vintage blackfoot, too, so hopefully they are easier to find now.

Actually it wont the original BF tranny is the same as the frog, brat and monster beetle this one is way different...on that note pretty disappointing release its not a rere of the original which most are waiting for and its just a fancied up bf extreme, here is a shot I found on the net of a extreme :(

Yeah, it's not completely original. However if someone really wanted one, buy this original style body and a frog, add the ingredients together. Bodies for vintage rides are much harder to come by than chassis, especially ones as commonly used as the BF. Like you said, they used it in many different models. I would like to see that Ford body on a sand scorcher chassis, the front suspension would look a lot like the Ford TTB front.

Just stinks for the ones with a original we need spares like shock towers and front suspension pieces that wear rather fast, lucky tho the frog and brat rere helped a little far as the tranny parts and rear suspension parts. Need wheels to! Then of coarse full original body with decals, even tho one could make this work your still out decals and gonna do body work to fill the extra body mount hole and im betting the rears are not in the same spot od the original. One can hope I guess...

i bet there are some rere decal sets on ebasy for ya.

its definitely very close if not the same chassis and tranny as the twin detonator rig. that one had two motor setup, so the tranny was in the front and back, this on is really only in the rear. so its 2wd. but looks like there are lots of mods you can to get better shocks and al that on there.

I bet the tranny, chassis, suspension parts would fit the old Tamiya Overlander we've got. Looks like it's pretty much the same setup.

Sometimes sheets show up that are real but no such thing as rere but copies rather that guys in the UK make for many cars, no copyright issues there so they can get away with it and usually they arent perfect so a true bf fan sits and waits and hopes for a tamiya rere lol.

Might check the manual and diagrams for parts swapping

i think the overlander was part of the same design as the twin detonator, just a different body. so, yeah, same same.

well this rere is more like a redo. :)
