All stock except for an Integy heat sink w/fan I installed on the motor.
Haven't gotten around to making ABS tires.

I wanted a set of these... Image but they were out of stock, so I got a set of these... Image

I could just paint them, but I'm kinda on the fence about it. Black would look better on the Mercedes and Gold would look pretty good on the S2000.

Also since the Mercedes and Honda bodies are 200mm (car/AE86 are 190mm), I need to get another pair with a wider offset.
Stock runs 3mm in front, 6mm in rear... to make it look right/better, I need 6mm in front and 9mm in rear.

Got some new parts after talking to the guys at the RC drift meet in Melbourne, FL. I already had an idea of what to get but I wanted to get some more experienced opinions. I ended up ordering HPI universal dogbones all around, HPI front one-way diff and GPM aluminum steering assembly. I also got enough HPI body mount pads for a few vehicles. The only parts that came with instructions were the dogbones. Since they sell in pairs I had two sets of directions. The rest wasn't too hard to figure out tho.

I just snapped these pics real quick. I don't have the best lighting in this room or the steadiest of hands (who does?) so a couple pics are a lil blurry. I may get it out tomorrow for some play/practice with the new setup so I'll get better pics. Here's what I got for now:

New wheels I got a while ago but don't think I've shown them off yet. Unfortunately when I was putting ABS tires on the 9mm offset pair, the wheels flexed and the chrome has chipped around the front lip. Sucks but whatever, it happens... live n learn. At least they're not that expensive to get new ones. I also shortened and modded the front body posts so they don't stick way up out of the hood. It looks much better now.

^ the new post thingies hold down the washers and keep the bumper from moving around.

Here you can see the front universal dogbones (didn't take pic of rears), front one-way and aluminum steering bits...

:bling :grats glad to see you fixed the body mounts finally lol those others were to long haha. I need to take the tc out again soon. Thinking about putting a 7700 in it, I have to send the 5700 back to castle from the slash and for the $95 they just send you another or you can change the system so might upgrade that system to a 7700 and take the sidewinder out out of the tc and put it in the slash once I get a alum. gearcase again.

They look pretty sick on the black Mercedes AMG S-Class too. The AE86 looks like some ghetto Mexi-mobile... color changing (mostly purple/green) with gold wheels that stick out of the fenders... no bueno. I gotta test the new front posts with my other bodies. I believe they mount a little higher and I cut the posts and the things that go on top short to work with the S2000 body. When I get around to it I'll take some pics and put them up.

Yeah, it's pretty much good to go... just haven't tested it yet.
Had to get a package shipped to Scotland, get some groceries... go back out for beer and then watch football (I am now) so it's been a busy day :rof
Maybe tomorrow and/or Saturday. I've been itching to do some driving but the lack of a fun spot close by kills me.

Quick pic of some recently acquired wheels. I also added some body lines around the door but no pics yet.
