Wow, that came out AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent work Mi Amigo. Doesn't look anything like it used to.lol Nice color choices and looks well planned out and well executed to boot. I would say you are hooked like BIG fish in the RC ocean and with work like that you are not a Newbie anymore. Welcome to the club and pass this man a Beer to celebrate. :)

lmao wrench, thanx guys. I worked hard on it. The night pics are comin soon, get to see Bill's RC LED's in action. Now to find a nice set of bumpers and some spot lights to wrap this build up. I like this one enough to leave it like this for a while. Besides, I've got a new rig supposed to be in today thanks to crawlin. I haven't spotted one yet, so it may just be the first FOFF rig on this site. If anyone knows of another FOFF build up on here please link me so I can get some advice.

WOW MAN!!

that thing looks really good on the rick, and for a MOA has a decent scale appearance!

show me how you have that rear steer hooked up. i didnt even realize you had dual steer. is yours just done with a switch?

i like where it gets run over.

only thing i see where you could improve are some more powerful servos. but those seem to work fine for you!

yeah, the servos suck. The 4ws is stock on here. The tx has 4 different modes you can select. I'll get some pics up soon.

scaling that wall was the biggest achievement yet for me with this rig. I've been trying to make it up that thing since day one. Next up is the higher section of wall behind that one. If I get my electronics tray down and put my batt packs on the axle, it just might make it.

haha, I hear ya. Unfortunately they're really stiff, so I'm not sure how they'll crawl yet. Plus I really like the knobby look of the swamp dawgs. I'm planning on using these for playin in mud and snow for now. I've got a lead on some emaxx rims to narrow for these tires. So they're probably going to be getting some big boy rims soon. At $10 shipped, I can't beat the deal, plus I like the big rim look. These look pretty mean on the bug too. And they bump my speed by almost 10mph! They'll be good for overall bashing on both rigs. I've also got a Axial Honcho bumper coming soon for this build too. It's the one with the metal plates that I've been wanting for a long time. Between the bumper, a couple of spot lights and these rims/tires. I'll bet it'll be one of the best looking RS10s out there. :righton

Well, I took it out yesterday along with the FOFF and it's official. They really, REALLY suck on the rocks. The extra ground clearance was nice though, and they work great in mud and deep water. So they'll be reserved for mud bogging and bashing I suppose. I still like the swamp dawgs better for trail riding and crawling. I cut the short lug out on every other one on the Swamp Dawgs, made a big improvement on crawling.

My front bumper came in last night. It's a Honcho bumper. Can't beat the price. It was completely free. I tried paying the dude for it, shipping, gas money...wouldn't take a dime. :righton Now I just gotta work out a bracket to mount it to the frame. I really need to get another one. I'm thinking about trying to scratch up a honcho frame too. I think it'll match up with the setup I have here.

Cool deal on that bumper.

And I'll toss my 2 cents in on tires- love those big ol' Dawgs myself. The skinny tractor tire look of the others just killed the Jeeps "Mean Joe Green" vibe.

got the bumper mounted last night and let me tell you what, it took it to a whole 'nother level. I've got to get a couple led buckets for it now. Pics to come.

Yeah lookin forward to see how far you can go with this build! so if it didnt show, im still torn between the maxstone 10 & the rockslide rs10. The rockslide of course has Redcat's better rep and better parts/customer support; but at the same time the maxstone has a slightly lower price tag and compatibility with axial ax10/scx10 parts (in case i do stick with the crawling genre).

As a side note about my situation involving affording the kit, im dropping my crappy charge-here-charge-there keybank and my brother's adding me onto his chase account. of course everybody's scrutinizing chase because they're targeted as one of the big wall street corporations, but as a result they're feeling the pressure and offering a bunch of new-account deals & promos. For example, if i deposit $100+ in the next 60 days (which i will be doing anyways), ill get a $150 gift certificate. but im goin with them mainly cuz they have fewer charges than keybank.
