I just bought one of my old favorites from a site that fixes them to run on newer systems. Apparently the old games meant for windows 95 aren't good when run on XP/Vista/7. I also couldn't find a freebie download for it like I normally do. The game is Interstate 76, anybody else play it around 97 or 98? I remember playing it in college rather than studying. It's a muscle car with gun turret driving game set in a mad max style 1976. I haven't played it yet so it should be interesting to see if it's as cool as I remember, or lame. I also thought this might be a cool discussion topic for all those old games that you love.

Sounds familiar but would need to see it....twisted metal is a fav from the PS days which I have a few emu's of ps games and tons of the older systems like nintendo, n64(even have the system still). Some of the emu programs you can even link up with others to play 2 player.

I have super nintendo on emu but nothing else. I still have all my old systems somewhere, all the way back to the Atari 2600. I actually had a 7800 before that but it's gone.
Here's I76 on youtube.

I remember that game.. I worked at Software ETC back in the 1990s and remember talking to people about it.. LOL @ the video.. reminds me of X-wing vs Tie Fighter but on the ground.. and with a funky 70s sound track. I think my favorite old games are doom and Quake 2... both of which have new engines you can install to make the graphics look modern... doesn't look like there is one for this Activision title..

My freshman year at college was 97 and Quake was what all the geeky guys in the dorms were playing. Mind you, I was(am) geeky too, but beer and girls were my priority at the time.

Funny you mention zombies. I was eating lunch today and all of a sudden, a large group of slow moving senior citizens crept past my table towards the door. All I could think of was that I was in a zombie movie, haha.

No, I haven't been playing games lately. After my laptop got ill, I moved everything to the desktop and just haven't re-installed any of the games.
