Just got this from the free forum guys
We just rolled out our "7 days early" 2.0.14 version of our FF (Free Forums) System. This includes three large features and some bug fixes. You can read below for the changes:

Features
-Leaderboard (We've created a leaderboard for the top forums on freeforums.org @ http://www.freeforums.org/leaderboard.php)
-Hover over subject preview (When you hover over the subject of a topic on the view forum page, you will see a preview of the first post)
-Wibiya Toolbar (We've added the "Wibiya Toolbar" to the Mod Center on all forums. This adds a toolbar to the bottom of your forum much like the one on this support forum. The toolbar includes a forum search, ShareThis button, FaceBook "like" button, and chatroom. This toolbar will likely increase forum activity.)

Bug Fixes
Fixed Thanks Mod bug

Enabled the toolbar so let me know the feedback and see if we want it or not. Helps bring in folks that would be nice, the facebook feature is nice for us that are on there.
Increased activity will always help:wink

personally i can do without the tool bar but thats just my opinion. its kinda annoying but like said its just my opinion and please dont base it on just my point of view rather you wish to keep it or not.

i do kinda like the chat box idea though.

Well, I don't really care for it, but it can be minimized so having it won't hurt my feelings. The only thing I would ever use on it is the chat box. For certain situations it is better than our box, but the one we have is adequate for me. Just my 2 cents though.

toolbar doesn't bother me. i read that you turned it on but didn't notice til Jamus's post.
Kinda cool that it's there through every thread. Not that the original chat box isn't there but you don't have to go to the top of the page to stay in the conversation.

Testing it with Jamus right now.

There's no pop-up or sound notification if you minimize the new chat box. Having to keep it open takes a third of my screen's width (22" LCD) and more than half of my browser vertically and there's no apparent way to resize it. It would be cool if it linked with the original chat box so you could use one or the other and stay in the conversation... if there is one. I don't have any friends on Facebook that are into RC, that aren't already on the forums I visit, so the "like" or "share" button is pretty much useless to me.

I thought the FB thing might be ok if used once in while and if someone saw it on FB might say I will check it out and actually sign up but I dont really care one way or the either I can turn it off with one click lol, think I can even remove the chat box feature to if thats better.
Place was more active it might work better but with everything sloooow :?

The tool bar is minimized when I visit the forum so it's not like it's a nuisance and in the way. But I'll probably forget about it.
Personally, I have no real use for the FB share thing. The 3 RC friends I have on FB have most likely already seen what I'd be sharing.

I'd say leave it up for a while. It's not in the way and who knows, maybe we'll get used to it start using it for the chat n stuff.

I haven't had anything to post for a while. Took a break from RC mostly cuz it's too damn hot and miserable outside. I haven't ran anything since testing my Honcho after I got it all together. I have a smaller yard but it's still decent size and the grass is better for driving on. Once it cools off and I buy/build some jumps I'll be more active with my RC's.

Ever since this update, I have to refresh pages about 3 times to make them show.
