Yay got my servo back from hitec today and free of charge! Form just says replaced gear so guess it wasnt a board gone bad but I went through the gears pretty good and didnt see any stripped so maybe one on the motor? cant see that one very well...might give em a call and see if they can tell me better just cause im curious.

Boredom does things to one I tell ya :crazy since I cant get out to crawl much it seems I got a bright idea to rewire a bit real bright idea...so first was suggested to entend the esc wires and bring the plug into the front compartment, sounded logical since I was having a hard time with the rx box in its new place and getting the deans past it...moved the rx box to where the gopro mount was and this was a idea I had for a bit so it worked good which was to move the gopro mount forward more so the eye was closer to the window area ala see more...well that also presented more work for me as it turns out cause the wires were then to short and stuff so screwed with that mess for the last few days and while its not all pretty for the shelf queen builders I really dont give a rats ass I build em to run and function and pretty comes in last :finger yes the wire bundle is visible I wanted it on the other side next to conter console but it wouldnt fit with the gopro as it is I had to sand the shit out of the mount so it would slide over closer to the center console as much as I could....benefit is the gopro itself now sits inside more before it stuck out a bit and I can use the normal screw to mount the unit to the mount before I had to fit a screwdriver in there with a normal screw and lastly it sits almost outside the window and its a tad higher its now as high as it will go for sure since its dam near hitting the roof tubes.
The rx box is nice and sealed now, new bec in place, replaced servo with the freshly fixed 7954sh and with voltage at 7v, dont have to fiddle getting the deans plugged in under the gopro just pop the hood and do the business there...now onto that im kinda unsure what to do here. Putting the wires on the lipo pointing up is what I wanted prob is the dam wires are so thick it bulges the side of the hood a bit even with pushing hte wires down as much as I care to press them, other way is turn it over like pictured and run the plug up but maybe a issue maybe not the wires do kinda hang out from the fender well there...

I also put a little strip of lexan across the winch just to keep the plugs from maybe getting in the way ;)
Picked up one of Bruces pull pals as well and for the life of me have no idea how or where to hook it and what not :??

The mess I started with...

hmm rather leave lipo wires coming across it makes for a tight bend to reach esc plug other wise. The plugs in the middle of hood area arent a issue they dont get squished at all with the scoop there its just the placement at the corner...so wires on top your saying?

With pack and wires on top no they wont go under the brace to big and wont bend that much, they will if its flipped over so wires are on bottom like in the pic. As it is on top I have to bend the crap out of them so I can shut the hood. Suppose if I had the balls could peel some wrap back and unsolder the wires and point them sideways maybe...ugh

lol yea decided not to, tore into a old one a few times in the past not fun. The angle is way off to try to plug in if I route lipo on the passenger has to be on the driver and come across to meet esc. Theirs no chance they will touch the winch anyway.
