I want to make the sc10 I bought and make it with the biggest beaded tires I can with the same hub pinion it uses, I also want to know how I could raise the body up more to make it look more like a trial truck, or big 4x4 anyone have links to parts I could use? I am doing this because I tried making it a speed demon but once it hits 60-70 it flips over, even after raising the back end and lowering the front, any tips on that would be great too. I have a Slash as well with 800 bucks into it. One other thing thats is strange to me is why my truck which came factory 33kv Brushless and 2.4gh still has a big antenna ??Image

unfortunatly that chassis setup is for the track and to make it a top speed racer would take way more work than I think it's worth. You might have to morph it into something a bit different. You might try a SC oval body and shorten the shock shafts and lower the ride hieght way down and figure a way to get some down force into it to push it down into the tarmac. AS opposed to SC bodies that run real high and tend to parachute and lift the thing up and over. Maybe desighning a splittter of somekind up front to hold the air from getting under it in the first place might be the starting piont.I think the long antenna is because the 2.4 Ghz radio AE uses in there RTR kits is a cheeper version from china and doesn't have the DSM tecnology in it to allow it to run the micro antenna wires.HtH you out a bit.

my jacked up Slash... spliff-s-monster-ish-slash-t19.html

But I'm with W on this one.
The track-designed truck is likely to be a bigger hassle to make into a mud truck than you expect.

What kind of mudding are you looking to get into? Wet conditions off-roading where it's just the top layer that's muddy? Or something more like bogging or swamping where you're driving into holes filled with mud or submerging in water?

Check out this waterproof mud rig... spliff-s-scale-ish-wheely-king-t20.html
