I think I will just start off showing you guys my pics I scanned of my original Clod Buster. Its no longer around as far as I know. After I sold it, the kid drove it down a flight of stairs. It was Christmas present to myself.




Had to get it muddy




Made a few changes and bought a Traxxas Sledgehammer





Then it was time to make a few changes




Its history now.

Good ol clodbuster, nice looker for stock. Said it many times mine is probaly my favorite of the fleet but the bl savage is a close second if not a tie hard to say lol.
What rcca mag is that? Keeping my eyes open for the issue with a blackfoot in it. Wish traxxas still made parts for the sledge I need a set of rims

thats the first RCCA mag I bought, so its about maybe Dec 89 or Jan 90, not sure. I did a dumb thing when I divorced the 2nd time, I left them behind. Oh well.

I will have to dig through my tire box, i may have some sledge rims (not sure) I will let you know

Sweet that would rock if you did, they fit the blackfoot axles and have a little offset so their not so tipsy. Forgot to nice vintage pepsi bottle, some of us are old enough to remember when they came in glass bottles lol, used to get 10cents for one of those in Ore. and 5 cents for a can, as a kid that was alot back then and we used to go all over the town grabbing those things when the first video game showed up in the grocery store, still say to this day we had one clean town

yes the old vintage pepsi bottles, i have or had some them around the house at one time, hell i even have an old wooden crate that them and coke came in sitting in my storage shed.

Nice rigs. I have always been a Tamiya guy. I never owned and always wanted one of the MT type rigs from then. If I ever found a deal on one I would have to jump on it. And the scale stuff has just bitten me bad recently. I wish I had a ton more cash for RC rigs. Welcome aboard,glad to have you. l8r,w.

I had to go back and look at the pics, I couldn't figure out the Pepsi bottle thing. Now I see. I wish they still put soda in glass. Oh well. Glad you all liked the trip back in time.

You can still get soda in a bottle south of the border by the way...

I like Jarritos soda. Comes in a glass pop-top bottle and is made with actual sugar instead of crap like splenda.

Haha we have tons of the mexican food joints so when we go I get a bottle of the apple flavored soda

I love CA burrito trucks!... at least the ones in Arcata. Can get a 5lb burrito and a soda for under $10... chicken tinga is my fav.

Really big around here now is the guys cruising by blowing the old squeeze horns pushing the carts, either have the done corn on a stick or my fav the cup of fruit done up mexican style stuff is dam good. Been seeing the taco truck parked down the street on the weekends tho, have to hit it up someday we just never have cash on us at the time.

Always wanted to try corn on a stick.
Never seen a cart tho... but then again Arcata is far from the border (couple hours from Oregon).

Wife loves the stuff I dont care for it but it has mayonase, parmassen cheese, hot powder stuff(cant think of the name) about it I think. lol watch nacho libre and the dude is like always eating the stuff. Ever find the fruit guy try that tho, all sorts of fruits with lime over it and the same hot powder

Yeah, I saw it on Nach Libre. Sounds kinda gross with the mayo but so does french fries and mayo and that's really good, tho you can feel your arteries clogging.
