OK so let me start off by pointing out that some people think they're knowledgeable at something when sadly they aren't as much as they thought. Let's take my brother for example. He thinks he's pretty good at understanding basic computer programs & functions, which he is, but when it comes to cameras & video editing software........not so much......

Let's go back to last weekend. One of his friends is going into the Air Force and was having a small quickie wedding before he got shipped off, and since he liked a previous video I did he asked me to catch it on video (K-NOTE & HIS TRUSTY CAMCORDER TO THE RESCUE!!!!).

So now here we are a week later, his friend likes the footage and now it just leaves my brother to put it on a DVD. But this is also the part where the un-savvyness comes in (and I'm glad his short temper & impatience didn't get my camcorder destroyed). He tries to make the movie, but 4 failed DVD burns later he's at his wits end and about to smash my $150 camera. After seeing what all is going on, I easily spot the problem: he's trying to make the movie with the video files just streaming right off the camera! After all, when any one of us makes a video do we just do the editing straight off the camera or do we copy the files onto the computer & go from there? I explain this to him, but in his raged mood he was still under his FIRM belief that he should've been able to stream the files directly off the camera onto the program without any problems (as if my camera's memory card was a high-speed hard drive). In the end, I'm just glad that I arrived in time so my camera didn't pay the price for his misunderstandings. And from now on, let's just leave the videos up to me :tng .........

Yeah definitely. But then again, if he did break it he'd owe me a new camcorder :wink I would've probably embellished the value and suckered him into gettin me a new HD one
