The new 4TEN chassis design adopts some of the proven chassis and balance geometry used in our GCM CrossCanyon Scaler Conversion kits, and allows the use of the Axial center transmission mounted up front where it belongs. This, along with the front mounted motor and frame mounted front steering servo, allow for a proper weight balance for scale trail and rock crawling as well as a low Center of Gravity. The Transfer case mounted mid-frame allows for ideal driveshaft angles as well as ample room for interior details and electrics. The all new rear shock bridge allows angle mounting of the rear shocks and keeps the crossmember down low for easy pickup box mounting or cage work. The Chassis has 3 deg of designed-in castor to correct pinion angles for the front and rear without the use of angle spring blocks. With a total frame length of 17.6 inches on the rails, the Toyota FJ users will love the long front frames for a winch mount, and the rear can be trimmed down to length any time to match the body and bumper mounts used in the build.
