I built this little rocket for indoor foam track racing. The thing was amazing until i began having servo saver problems...the season was over before I got it worked out and now the track and the series have disappeared and gone the way of my beloved local Tri-City Drag-way....

It was originally a RC-18r but I had to convert the stubs to the 18t ones to fit the foams...then it no longer stuffed under the Rally lid, so I went this route instead. I made the bumper myself and it is the cats ....well it very nice and strong as all get out!

anyway, I realize that there is very little interest in these cars/trucks anymore, but I thought Id show it to everyone anyway. Yea the trim is all handpainted and far from perfect....but when it was flying around the track it looked pretty cool!

Im guessing the giant bumper and the really crappy paint job and perhaps: the odd sized tires, wider stance, the shorter 18r shocks with 18t mounts, truggy body with attached wing...may all give it a somewhat different look :tng

I gotta say I wish there were a bigger crowd for these, at least if ya didnt want them any more you could sell them off for decent money....perhaps ill check around for ideas and make this into a mini SCT or something? I dunno but I doubt Ill be doing anything, race wise, that requires this set up anymore!

So why not have some fun with a project build...since I can't get any $$ out of it! :??

I bet it gets way better traction with those 18T wheels/tires. nice mod. I have two 18Rs still and only drive them once in a while but love them.. they handle so well... amazingly fast and agile for such a small rc car. :)
