So I figured I should at least try out drifting. I got some 2"pipe, white is what I had, haha, and glued it to some tc rims. Slapped them on my $18 pro-pulse and slid around my greasy garage floor this evening. It rained today so asphalt driving will wait. It was fun but slick tires on greasy chipboard flooring made it like ice driving. Good for a battery of laughs though. I know Spliff will get a laugh out of it.

Lol. PVC is a bit slicker than ABS so it'll be a bit more like driving on ice. Pavement might be a bit better for PVC and your "drifter". If you have any ABS kicking around or feel like picking some up, it should give you a bit more grip but still pretty slick.

I knew you'd know what I was doing wrong, haha. I remember seeing you say a locked front diff helps too. I doubt I'll dig into the diff but ya never know. I'm actually working on a real touring car, might try drifting with it. Properly set up might be more fun.

It's a locked rear. Since the back end will be spending most of it's time sliding to one side or the other, it'll help with both rear wheels turning at the same speed. You want the front open so the steering remains under control. I put a front one-way diff in my car which acts like an e-brake since the front spins freely unless under forward power. When coasting or braking, the front keeps rolling while the rear slows or locks up initiating a slide.

I have so much junk in my garage that I kept sliding into. Jackstands, stove, old truck parts. It's just nice to have my garage back. There has been a project truck of some kind in there since I got the garage. I plan to make some cardboard rocks in there this winter as well, take advantage of the heater.

Yeah, sorry, I sold off the pro-pulse and deleted some of the pics. I still have these wheels though. Drifting just isn't my thing, unless it's 1:1 on an old dirt road.

Yeah, the mower racers slide all over the place on mud and wet grass.
