I had a video on youtube of my tamtech riding on the homemade paddle tires I made in the snow. The video seems to have disapeared though.

darn, i would've loved to see that beast run!

and the point of the title was from back yonder when I was coming across quite a cfew comments that supposedly the only things that could handle the snow are high-rompers 1/10 and bigger. I of course had to show my input on that. Those talon tires actually grip pretty well. But might i suggest veggie oil on em, especially if its wet snow. it clumps your tires and before ya know it you're on the verge of fryin your diff :roll

The veggie oil is a really good idea. I found that the minis are lighter and stay on top the snow, the tamtech did anyway. The snow I was driving in was 4" at least, which you would expect to swallow something with 2.5" tires, haha. I put experience up against a theory off the internet anyday.

true there, but then again i guess it might also be that some mini tires compensate for their size by being wider, so they cover more area while having less weight on em. but thats just from experience with the merv.
