I'm glad to see the racing RC looking more realistic. This is what truck(SCT) and buggies should look like IMHO.

didnt they start with a scale look back in the 80's...?

all the tamiys stuff was always super scale

Yeah, Tamiya is in a class of their own I guess. I remember when I first got into RC and heard about "stadium truck" racing. I thought it would be, and look, like the old stadium trucks from the early 90's. It's like comparing a modern day RC10 with the tamiya ta02 prerunners, performance vs. looks. Seems like they're getting around to combining those two aspects.
