Yeah, kinda like Konex for rc's.

I got my S&S lower links, the Novak 55T motor, and my esc in. I've got it mocked up just to show progress so far. The front upper links are going to be changed out and the rear uppers arent installed in these pics either. It seems like its going to be pretty flexible as far as articulation goes. It doesnt seem to top heavy either so far. Once I get my servo, wheels and tires in, it'll be done I think. I'm on the hunt for another Integy shaft for the front, but this Pede shaft will do for now. But any ways, here are the pics.

suspension looks a little tall, but that is hard to tell with no tires on the thing. what are you gonna run for tires?

its the novak a brushed or brushless setup?

its brushed, paired with a RC4WD esc. I'm running weighted Axial locks with white dot Rovers, star cut foams. I put my wheels/tires off the redcat on there last night, it looks very mean. I was wondering about the height too. I'm going to wait till all my links, wheels and tires get in to make final adjustments.

Has anyone ever used these S&S links? I'm curious as to wether there is a top or bottom to them. One end is a little more narrow than the other.

Looks great, I really like these Proline frames. I'm looking to get one soon myself and put something together, a bit different though. I'd be keen to see it with your final tire choice. Yes I agree it does look to be sitting a bit too tall, want to bring that COG down., but I guess it's fairly light being plastic. I like your front grille. It's always fun to hack up a stock lexan body to give it your own touches.

I've done alot more to it. I'm looking into some better springs. These really suck. They're way to soft and wont support the rig. I tried it out last night for just a minute. Everything was goin great, crawling very well. I can climb a wall and almost get the rear tires to touch the wall too (lacks a couple inches) so COG is pretty good I think. But upon taking it outside it chewed up the temporary drive shaft I had one the front. I'm on the hunt for another HD shaft now. I've got three projects going at once here, one of which you'll start getting pics on tonight or tommorrow. Lets just say the Redcat is in a thousand pieces.

yeah. I found it. I've got my ABS on with the GT3, i was wondering why reverse was so choppy and slow. So I got that lined out I think. I've got a nice setup for the redcat. Think you'll like it. Wish I hadnt bought this lipo for the drifter now, I need a smaller pack for this rig.

that was the issue. I robbed my delrin links, wheels and Hitech servo from this build to use on my Redcat build. I've got some my Redcat beadlocks and Swamp dawgs going on this one.

:rof change rigs more then underwear.

M limited knowledge but first id soften those shocks way to much shock and get the height lowered and bet you see a diff right there. Then add weight to rims which is easy enough and cheap and pretty have to for these crawlers or your will get know where....

I've got it low sprung with weight in the rims. Im running a 5-3 setup. I'm hoping to either trade this and the ax10 off for a Wraith or sell both of em off and buy one.
