SO here's the goodies. I traded off my drifter and got this all green AX-10 in return. It has a 2.4 ghz Losi rx/tx for now as I'm planning on this being my daughter rig (if she shows intrest). It's pretty much stock. It came with a set of Panther Leopards and a set of mystery tires. Theres not much to post on it yet, but here's how she sits for the time being.

panthers are some really nice tires man, sounds like you won on that trade, but maybe he did too if he really likes to drift.

almost makes me want to trade my one on-road for something, but it was my first kit i got 4 years ago.

Well, this one may end up being my new FOFF. The daughter has shown no intrest in it at all. She said she'd like to try it or whatever when I was looking to trade, but anytime I ask if she wants to drive em or tinker with it, heck..even clean it up some. I get a big no. So I guess this one will be a shelf queen until I come up with a game plan for it.

shes 12. I'm going to use the tuber I think and rebuild the FOFF. Its got a Axial trans in it and it's ready to rock. All I'd have to do with it is rework the suspension to drop it down lower. Maybe do a "scale-ish" rig with it. I've pretty much put those builds on hold till I finish the MOA.

So my bro in law and I worked last night to get this one ready for the rocks today. We installed the Integy bent lower links and the Airshocks too. I used a Hitech servo and did a BTA steering conversion.

It crawls VERY well. Almost kept up with the Redcat on the rocks today. I was actualy amazed at the performance. But here she is, just in time to sell or trade it off.

I used Panther Leopards wrapped around Axial beadlocks. Right at 4.5 in the front and almost 3 in the rear.

It's running a Losi esc w/ drag brake and a Losi 2.4 rx/tx and the stock AX10 trans and 55T motor.

yes. Axial AX10. I think they call it a scorpion too. But I'm not 100% on that. I was really surprised with this thing. I had my doubts in a shafty crawler. But I was proven wrong. It has enough control to pick your line, plus the break holds realy good on it too.

shafties are where it all started so i guess they shoudnt be too inept at crawling.

only thing i would really upgrade is where you servo is mounted. that linkage looks a bit funky

Should go hang out at one of them comps, first one I just went to was a big one and gotta say all I saw were honchos and wraiths and few other types but majority axial so must be a reason for that and the ones you hear about that win these things drive axial. Anyway best thing you can do I think is hang with the pros and pick up info most racers are pretty helpful.

yeah, if I keep it Im going to use a battery plate and relocate the servo to one side of the axle. That'l drop it down some and make the servo horn fit a little easier. Thats why it looks odd. I had to have room for the horn to move in either direction. I ruined alot of turnbuckle shafts trying to get the bends just right. I'm going to pair this with the Tuber and trade em both for a Wraith. Or sell both of them out and just buy one out right.

I thought something looked off about them. Sorry about the deceitful people of the world. We all get hit by them eventually.

the rear axle looks different to me. I'm going to check it out tonight. Looks kinda like it has a Exceed front axle case for sure. But a guy on RCC said the rear may be Axial. But the lockouts may be decieving him. I'm going to take the rig apart and sell it off. I figure I can get around $160-170 by doin that.

Rear axle housing is Axial....dunno what the front is so prolly Exceed junk in front. That sucks, hope you posted feedback on the crappy seller.

id be glad to find out if he just changed the axle case or if the internals are Exceed too. If just the case is Exceed, Ill buy a Axial case and it'll be right as rain. I may check it out tonight when I dismantle it.
