RC Bashers

So get a call late Saturday evening saying lets hit up the comp going on Sun. by the river lol well had to haul ass to get everything finished then late in the day fire up the radio to find the rx decided to go south so good thing I had got another. We headed out this am pull up to the parking and wow! tons of folks there now we were just going to fart around not compete or anything so we chatted a bit then tehy said we could go along the course just stay out of the way of competitors NOw get this their was over 170 gates on this thing started up top then you hike down the side of the hill towards teh river then back up, omg for someone out of shape im feeling some serious burn right now LOL. Anyway we just took our time played around alot but their was some gnarly gates and I will say for a newb and new rig it did very well I say and I do now know where I need to fix some things.
The lipos I got...this blows me away we started at I dont know around 11:30 maybe? All I know it was dark by time we got back up top so some 4hrs later and my lipo (1st one I started with) was probaly just dumping as I rolled up to the car!! Dayum! Had some very strange issues off and on so not sure whats going on there, it acted like the old days with am radios if someone was on your channel it would take off and geek out, I did notice I had forgot to add capicitors to the motor doh! Not sure that was the problem or not tho...
Other then that no breakage but my new body panels lol

This last part was awesome long ass hill you had to go up, its hard to see that in the pics but man the wraith went right up like it was nothing haha.
Have to see whats up on the go-pro cause it shut off the last time I turned it which suks so either the batts are dying or maybe the card is filling up cause it did have 2gigs on it when I got home so will start some editting on the long clip its not super but heh...

Yea after some smash burger I was for sure done lol I was pretty done before that but talking about a full time coach potatoe so dropping me into a hiking expedition....
seems like so much work to have to use one of those all the time, honestly had fun just doing our thing. WIsh we saw more guys tho so coulda got more pics of others rigs.

That place is insane! If I were within an hour of anything like that, I'd probably hang on to my crawlers. Mostly just dirt trails and breakwater rocks around my area, though.

To answer well.....yes I do like it! lol yea yea I put it down for a long time but I did have fun and getting up spots that looked like no way brought a smile to my face haha and or when Nate tried over and over and couldnt I go went right up I will say glad I modded it some right from the get go like moving the lipo forward cause that is probaly what helped me the most but I now see what I need to do to make it better...weight in the wheels, soften/lower shocks dont think to much there cause I was kinda bashing it around to.
Just woke up and man lol back is hurting, knees are shot PLace was insane and that one spot I got pics of wasnt even all of it by far, figure you see those houses in the one shots well you park up that high maybe little higher then wind your way down to those rocks and they had it marked some ways further following the river then you head back up and I wasnt the only one I saw saying how tired they were haha.

Tried to get some shots of others but by time we got there there wasnt alot of groups really we mostly ran into 1 or 2 guys at a time rarely. Wish I had more video the one in the rig I had to cut it way down cause after you see the end it just sat there while I was watching Nate and we were bs'ing lol so it ate most of the memory, only 2 gigs in it...be nice if their was a way to transfer stuff on a memory card to a thumb drive
